And I thought Amy's was it then I stumbled on this place: wow! This is darn good ice cream, especially if you like funky flavors and good ice cream.

Check the board for the pinned flavors for the evening: today I had the roasted beets and a scoop of the persimmons. Delicious.

Lick beats out all of the other quirky ice cream places; sorry Amy's and Ben and Jerry's, but Lick has definitely stolen your places. Lick make their own ice cream flavors; very unique and different , yet somehow the flavors mix together and taste amazing. I tried the chocolate with olive oil and salt which was good, but settled on a small with chocolate orange and too hot chocolate. Too hot chocolate is a spicy chocolate ice cream made with chili powder and other spices. I have definitely found my new favorite ice cream flavor and favorite ice cream shop-too bad I don't live in Austin.
