This place is good for a light moment with your wife or partner once in a while may be once in 2 years...bring kids n file bankruptcy. The cakes are cold...stale cream, mediocre assortment and expensive hot n cold bevs. Great place to sit chat relax outside the cafe overlooking the lake. If you like looking at college kids reading, browsing, may be studying, playing card games or simply whiling away their precious time by all means feel free to come and waste your money and time ..... I would rather go to the new whole foods where they have abundant assortment of fresh deserts and are sweet to sample if you are confused. Service is mediocre as well and most young people working here are not well trained on the contents of their deserts.

Whenever I feel like I'm OK with spending about $10-$12 for coffee and dessert, I come here. The coffee is pretty good and the desserts are usually pretty good too. Sometimes they might get a little stale from sitting the in cold fridge for a while. But really, you're paying for the location. They're located right on the lakeside and have tons of outdoor seating. This is a great place for groups or even an after dinner dessert with a date. Parking can be a pain though.
