Northwest Elementary School serves the educational needs of more than 500 students and offers classes from grades kindergarten through five. The school offers instruction in science, language arts, English, mathematics, health education, computer science, social studies, arts and crafts, vocal and instrumental music, drama, dance and physical education. It has a fully equipped library and media center that offers a large collection of books on various topics, and other audiovisual reference materials. The school s parent-teacher association organizes and participates in various school events and activities.
