Extremely unprofessional!! Do not use them unless you want to be treated like a two year old. I passed all their tests with high scores but was told by one of the staff that due to personality conflicts I should try another staffing agency! Who does that?

The people at Peak are very sweet and patient. It’s so obvious that they care about the people that they’re helping find a job and aren’t just filling spots.

I’ve been working in the job they helped me get (in the narcotics field) for the past two years and would like to strongly recommend them. They’re very professional and were able to find me a job in just a couple of days.

If you call every day, they can usually find you an assignment. They did for me.

Pass them by

Most of the jobs they offer are low skill, low paying jobs, They range from $9 to $12 an hour with most of them in the $10 to $11 range.

All of the jobs were data entry or customer service type jobs at state agencies. You do not get special consideration if you apply for a state job if you temp through Peak Performers. The agencies have to treat all of the applicants equally, so even if they know you it does not help. (State ethics laws apply.)

They do not participate in the unemployment insurance program, so when your assignment ends you cannot apply for unemployment.

Knowing all this, if you decide to go to them anyway, work with Mai. She is the nicest. Jo Lynn and Cheryl do not want to get telephone calls from you and do not want to hear from you. They will tell you, if you do not like it here, quit. There are a hundred other people just like you.

They do have some assignments where you are expected to be at the employer's place of business 10 minutes before you start but you will not be paid for that time.
