I STRONGLY urge you to choose a rental that is not maintained by this company. I lived in one of their properties located in San Antonio. At first, I thought I had stumbled upon a dream situation. Delbert Berry, my landlord, was nice, friendly and helpful. However, after giving my 30 days notice that I would be vacating my apartment, I never received my $300 security deposit. I followed the Texas Property Code to a tee and never got a response. After waiting for over a month, I contacted Delbert via email and he sent a response apologizing for the mix up and said that he was CC'ing someone in the office so that they could handle the problem. That was the last I heard about it. After never getting a response, I hired an attorney to try to get my money. My attorney called 5 days in a row with never getting a response, sent a letter, and still nothing.
