This is the kind of place that I grew up loving as a kid in East Texas. It looks like a hole in the wall on the outside, and then you get inside and realize that it really is! I absolutely love dives! Not places that try to be authentic, but are.



You feel like the people at Sam's are there because they really think they make great BBQ. They're not just there to turn a buck. The people who work there are always very lively and friendly.



Their BBQ is alright and their desserts taste like someone made them at home and brought them to the store. I love that they're open really late on weekends, like 2am or something. It's fun partying with friends all night and dropping in for something extra to top the evening off.
