My brother was in town for an impromptu weekend, and we decided that we “needed” to get tattoos in memory of our late grandmother. I went with something in her handwriting on my arm; Jack did it perfectly, adding a small change to make it perfect. I could not be happier. My brother decided to get a larger piece. Royce worked with him to draw out exactly what he wanted, and executed it amazingly. Being sxsw weekend I was really not sure walking into a shop on S Congress was a good plan, but these guys exceeded every expectation I have for a tattoo artist. Clean, professional, honest, amazing artists but they also had us laughing with their jokes, which made the time more enjoyable. I also watched as they calmly explained to some people making that drunk tattoo bad decision why they may want to sleep on it, and still stay calm as people rudely demanded next to impossible requests. I can’t say enough good things about this place, seriously, quit searching, this is the place you want.

I was in Austin visting my bestfriend and decided to get a tattoo for my 28 birthday. I went Southside Tattoo which was pleasant but quite busy. I got my tattoo done by Royce he did an excellent and he was mad cool too. I'd recommend Southside to anyone whom is looking to get a tattoo in Austin, Texas.

This shop rocks. Royce did a magnificent job on my Tattoo for this first-timer. The shop is clean, the staff was excellent, friendly and very talented. The prices were good. You can't go wrong choosing Southside Tattoo.
