Provided by YP.comI had no appointment with the vet but was shown into a room, & Dr Bradley came in & listened to what was wrong with my cat, whom she'd seen before. She discussed our options, explaining each one, and I feel she really cares about my cat, and the choices I face. Dr Bradley and Dr Chapin both have seen my cat through his lengthy illness, and both have been very supportive of us throughout this terrible disease. George has histoplasmosis, which is fatal, and they have been so caring and kind about the hard choices I've had to make about George. In fact, two different Banfield hospitals have taken care of George through the last 3 years, and without the Wellness Plans, I couldn't have afforded the expensive care that George has needed. In the past 2 visits, the Banfield at Tech Ridge has offered to see George at the last minute, by offering to working him. Drs Bradley and Chapin can not have been have been more caring doctors. I really think the world of the Banfield doctors and staff!

Provided by YP.comNEVER go here. I too had this vet tell me my pet needed teeth pulled that were perfectly healthy when I went for a second opinion. Also he gives vaccinations in the neck when given that some can cause cancer the standard of care is now the leg so that the cancer can be survivable. When I objected to the neck injections I was told the cancer risk is no big deal. I have a friend whose pet lost their leg to this. If a pet gets it in the next (it develops at the injection site) they DIE. It is appalling that a vet is willing to risk animals lives both with the vaccinations & anestesia & put them through pain for a few hundred extra dollars. He is also three times as expensive as the other vet I found, who gives MUCH better care. Both accurate, not bilking me for all they can though I have said money is no object multiple times, & showing WAY more care & patience with my pets.

Provided by YP.comRecently, I had to bring one of my mom's dogs to a vet. I ended up bringing her to Tech Ridge Pet Hospital. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this ver to anyone.
While the staff was friendly and seemed to be attentive, the diagnosis and medication given to my parents dog was very wrong. I brought Princess in for what I thought was a swollen eye. She had an abcessed tooth. The vet, Dr. Watson, told me that Princess would need 10 teeth and 1 incisor removed, totaling to over $800. Before he could remove the teeth, Princess had to complete a round of antibiotics. Dr. Watson also informed us that the infection would lead to a hole in Princess face and a hole in her noise. My mom and dad were very alarmed by this diagnosis, as Princess had just been to a vet in Louisiana in November to get spaded. The Louisiana vet did not mention any of this. Though, Dr. Watson was very adamant about his diagnosis and continued to mention how uncomfortable Princess was with the teeth.
My mom and dad could not afford the $800+ bill to remove Princess's teeth. They took Princess back to Louisiana to have her euthanized. They did not believe letting her live in so much pain, as described my Dr. Watson. At the vet in Louisiana, my parents were informed that Dr. Watson should have not only removed the infected teeth at the visit with him, but also it was not 10 teeth, but only 2 teeth (for $130) that should be removed. Removing these 2 teeth would resolve the whole problem...no holes in her face or nose and no excuriating pain. Also, the antibiotic Dr. Watson prescribed was not a strong enough dosage for Princess.
I am very disappointed with this service. Not only did Tech Ridge Hospital waste my time with a mis diagnosis, but they also left Princess in more pain for a couple of days. The procedure to resolve the issue was simple and inexpensive. I feel like Dr. Watson was only trying to get money out of us.

Provided by SuperpagesI've been bringing my pets to Tech Ridge since before they moved to this location. They are knowledgeable, professional, caring and sensitive to my pet's and my needs. When my dog became terminally ill last year, they were there with us all they way. I can't say enough about how well they treat my pets and how helpful they are to me.

Provided by YP.comBeware!! Don't go to this vet clinic/animal hospital if you want a good experience for your dog and yourself. Dr. Watson might be a good vet but he is rude and condescending plus he acts like he doesn't like animals much less care about them. A vet should make the pet and its human feel good about the care they are getting plus relaxed. In my 38 years of going to a vet, I've never encountered one with such an attitude. And, he hires people who are much like himself. The 'lady' at the front desk, I think her name is Jeannette, it's unbelievable how rude and condescending she is, I wanted to slap her. I believe they run tests, give shots, etc. that are not really necessary. He has all kinds of fancy equipment and new technology at this new clinic, they used to be Braker Lane Animal Clinic, and I think he wants to show it off while making extra money to pay for it at your cost. There are so many negatives about this place that the few positives are buried. Just do some research and find a good and caring vet who doesn't try to 'rob you blind' while treating you badly.

Provided by YP.comI work with a Yorkie Rescue Organization and about a year ago I decided to make appointments with different vets around town to interview for a veterinary care for the dogs that come through the non-profit group. After meeting with quite a few people around town, I decided without hesitation on Tech Ridge Pet Hospital. The staff is absolutely amazing! Every person who works in the clinic knows me by name and knows the dogs that I bring in. And I just cannot say enough good things about doctors Watson and Thornton. They are thorough and always thoughtful about every dog and every diagnosis. I feel like every person in Tech Ridge Pet Hospital is taking care of my dogs just the way I would. They've been my partners in saving these little lives and I am so grateful for the care that they give. I would highly recommend them for your pet's care too!

Provided by YP.comI have been bringing my dogs since they were puppies, to Tech Ridge Hospital when it was Braker Lane Animal Clinic, they are 11 years old now, and I even live in Round Rock! They have always been wonderful with me and my 2 Maltese. Dr Watson saved one of their lives, when he was 4 or 5, with an early diagnosis of a disease that is VERY rare in Maltese. Dr Thornton is also super, and Dr Lewis just did a very complicated surgery on our third addition to our family, a rescued Maltese whose little ear canal had to be removed due to chronic, untreated infections she suffered from at a puppy mill. I find their pricing very reasonable and trust them unconditionally!
