Wow, from the other reviews posted on here one would think this attorney is great. It seems as though these great reviews were staged based on the timeline of great reviews within a week or two. I have read several negative reviews and after hiring Mr. Mendez I understand why. I had the same experience as other clients have posted. The case of the missing attorney is just that. If you have the time to try and run behind an attorney, then hey Mr. Mendez is your guy. He does not return phone calls, avoids giving updated information on the case and is very condescending. If you want your case to be smooth and stress free, I do not recommend Gavino Mendez. Find another attorney who is willing to do everything for the client.

I have known and have had Mr.Mendez represent me for many family and civil cases... I have been very satisfied with his ability to keep me informed and be honest and up front about what is really going on in terms where I understand what is really going on and what to expect. I have also recommended him to several of my colleages and they have been very satisfied with his services as well.. he is a great asset to the hispanic community. I consider him Highly Intellegent and a great lawyer.

Has been my attorney in many occasions and now for child custody case. Mr Gavino has accelled in his practice in my county and made a great impression in court.I highly recommend Mr Gavino and his law firm.

The Lawyer Referral Service referred me to Mr. Gavino Mendez for legal counsel over a child custody/child support case against my 4 yr old daughter's father in 2012. I feel extremely fortunate to have met Mr. Mendez, to have received his expert guidance, to have learned even a fragment of the legal system from working with him, and to have met an attorney who I trust. He maintained my daughter's best interest as the focus, and always treated my family and me with respect. I later needed further legal assistance with an employment case, and Mr. Mendez agreed to represent me. He won this case for "US", despite this not being his area of specialty, but had taken it on because again, I was financially strapped and unable to afford an employment attorney. Mr. Mendez has been a blessing for my family, and he helped me when I had nothing to give him financially, but did so because he believed in my story and in fighting for the truth, helping people, and because he is an honorable, good man.

I was extremely pleased with the service and representation I received from Mr. Mendez. He is a fine lawyer, and I will always be thankful for him. He displayed commitment, support, and he got the job done. I give major kuddos to this man. Thank you Mr. Mendez.

gavino is really big in the mexican/hispanic community. he LIED to me several times, has a short temper and is slow on getting back to me about my case.
