The Rusty Railway Hostel stands alongside the rustic railroad tracks of a small village in South Austin. Unlike other busybody hostels this one blends into it's bohemian neighborhood. From the street, it's invisible, mythically inviting, from the murals lining the fence: 'the steam punk Mariachi, the cat train, the longhorn sundial' to the pot hanging railroad tracks in the kitchen. Scooter is the conductor who built these bunk beds, cleans these floors, makes you breakfast and shows you a new style of living, one traveler at a time.
