Originally, Kinkaid Stone Company focused on providing construction aggregate for the coal industry in Perry County, Illinois. When the decline in demand for Illinois coal hit in the early 1990s, Kinkaid Stone Company redirected its focus on providing high quality aggregate for the heavy highway, commercial and residential construction industries.In 1999, the Pautler Brothers sold Kinkaid Stone Company to the Simonds Group Ltd. Today we are still going strong as one of the leading suppliers of crushed limestone products in the area.
