Being my first time on the island, this was one of the first restaurants I encountered. It looked very busy and the wait was not that bad. Unfortunately, there were some individuals who did not have patience, even though the owner (Lou) was doing everything possible to accommodate his guests. Just remember that it will get packed during the hours that boats arrive on the island, but the wait is worth it. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly and the environment was very family oriented. As for the food, it is probably the best place I have ever had breakfast. The portions were phenomenal and the price was reasonable. I enjoyed the experience and would definitely return whenever on the Island. I would strongly recommend the peach pancakes (when in season). I strongly recommend this place if you are someone with healthy appetite and want a great souvenir of what the island experience is all about.
