Well, bedside manner should never be the sole contributor to a decision regarding whom to choose; however doc's manner and quiet confidence were the factors that pushed me to choosing you. Your staff is attentive and accommodating, and Dr. Amunategui is an artist wearing surgical gloves. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You run a really smooth operation. The front office is great- kind and gentle people.

15 months after face lift my neck is sagging, my face is crooked, my facial skin texture is awful, 'gills' around my mouth are prominent...I'm really devastated.. .do I recommend Dr. Amunategui to you? Resounding NO.

I was recommended to Dr. Amunategui and came for a consultation for some plastic surgery. I must say I never had a second opinion with any other plastic surgeon. He was the first and only one. He is an artist and an amazing doctor. My surgery went amazing and I look amazing. I had a complete face life and neck lift. Couldn't be happier with all my results. Dr. Amunategui’s demeanor is flawless. He is a friendly, personable, surgeon who speaks in a down to earth manner. He went over all the aspects of the surgery in detail, he was honest about what he thought I did and did not need and what to expect. He asked me a lot of questions ...rare these days! He didn't rush me and was genuinely interested in my concerns and achieving the results I was looking for.

I was interested in getting both upper and lower lid work done because my eyes were looking very tired, saggy and puffy and made me look kind of sad. I visited three different doctors before choosing Dr. Amunategui. So you know I put a lot of research into the procedure. Great doctor.

Last month I was diagnosed with skin cancer. The MOHS surgeon asked me if I wanted him to stitch me up, as needed, or if I had a plastic surgeon. I did not hesitate to tell him that I want to go to Dr. Amunategui (who he already knew, and had only good things to say about him). During the consultation with Dr A, he told me to come to his office immediately after my MOHS, and we would determine what needed to be done, depending on the extent of the hole left after the cancer was removed. After the surgery, Dr A, my boyfriend and I spent a long time going over the best way to close the hole (the MOHS left a larger than expected hole in my forehead) and I had the surgery the next morning. It is now 2 weeks later, and I have only a SMALL LINE which will probably disappear soon.

I'm going tell you Dr. Amunategui is a caring individual. I was apprehensive but he took the time to talk to me through. He answered my numerous questions and even made alterative suggestions that were really helpful. This man is fantastic as were the results. I've never met a medical professional or staff that are as helpful as Dr. Amunategui and his people are. Thank you.

Dr. Amunategui is an extremely kind and patient doctor. I went with my mother for a consultation last week. I wasn't certain about plastic surgery, in general, and so, of course, I had a myriad of questions. He took the time to answer each and every one, start to finish, and I never felt pressured nor did I feel as if he was swaying my mother in any direction. He was comforting of our fears, and explained each procedure in a simple and factual manner. We had been to another doctor, prior, who instilled no confidence. Dr. Amunategui was the exact opposite...he was caring and understanding, and I left feeling like my mother was in very good hands! She has an appointment scheduled for next week for her first procedure! (Will write more about her experience afterwards.) With so many positive stories from other patients and after researching his credentials and after hearing so much about his impeccable reputation, I am 100% confident that my mother is in the best hands possible!

I would like to thank Dr. Amunategui for his excellent work in trimming my tummy and fixing my ears. His compassion and understandings of my personal needs are very much appreciated.
