It seems no one has had an easy-going experience with this post office and its staff. My encounter was no different.

The post office's policies are 'whacked'. Apparently, they only hold onto items addressed with an PO Box, even if specified delivery instructions say for them to HOLD FOR PICKUP.

On multiple occasions I've had to visit/call the local post office and nearly every time it seems I deal with the same inconsiderate, insensitive, unhelpful woman. Every time she gets hostile and unnecessarily aggressive with her tone, and starts cutting me off and such.

Incompetent --
This tiny post office needs to change how it handles parcels. For the third time in a month, it has taken two days for my package to be available after the tracking showed it had arrived at the station. The moral, I guess, is if you need it fast, have the shipper use UPS or FedEx. The Avon station is an embarrassment to the USPS.

MANY AWFUL EXPERIENCES!

I have been with this post office for 4 years .. And I have to say 4 years to long ... Some of the staff are great, such as Pauline and Rob, although unfortunately they continue to keep a very incompetent and unpleasant Post Office NaZi female working there. I have 3 unpleasant confrontations with this woman and I have to come to the conclusion that she does not have the intelligence to handle situations that require reasoning abilities or skills which always leads to a hostile exchange with many customers. This is the managers responsibility to coach her or remove her from frontline customer service.
Edwards Post Office here I come... Looking forward to a more community minded friendly post office!

Avoid customer service desk if you can. If you don't have a choice take a Xanax if you have before you go cause your whole day is about to get ruined. Not one not two but The whole team of public service personnel doesn't know how to treat paying customers as a human being. You might see Jesus Christ but you will never see smile in their faces. Seems like Postmaster is under their thumb. They should be working at the back, sending mails out, receiving and putting mails in the PO boxes, not in front desk ruining every body's day. Mr Postmaster, How come they still have a job cause I am pretty sure you know very well how they treat the customers. Couldn't tell if they are Public Servant or a modern day Slave Master. Well see you soon cause I simply don't have a choice.

Slow

It's the whole system there, but the employees are just adding additional trouble for fact that they have no clue of anything related to their job. But most of my des appointment is the system of operation for fact they don't deliver ok; but at least don't make people wait for an hour to get their packeges.
