Absolutely ridiculous.

My husband and I traveled to our local IHOP after recently moving to this area. When we first walked in the manager standing as hostess didnt even make eye contact. No smile or anything, just grabbed the menus and began walking.

For the most part its fairly empty however she sits us down in the front and throws the menus onto the table and leaves without a word.

My husband and i looked at one another thinking "Ok?...." but said nothing at this point.

5 minutes later she sits down a family large enough for 3 booths next to us... the entire restaurant was empty and there were larger sitting areas. Also they were extremely loud.
Becoming irritated we waited patiently for our server to get drinks. I just wanted a coffee.
Upon reviewing the menu I noticed alot of items with a sticker saying "discontinued".
We waited exactly 15 minutes and were never actually served or greeted.

My husband and I got up and left and they never said anything. We drove out of Avon to find an Ihop up North who was fantastic and none of their menu items were "retired". We received excellent service from the one further north however this IHOP desperately needs new management/ staff. Inexcusable.

Wife took me here for my Birthday Dinner today. We ordered our appetizer and food it took 20 minutes or more for food to come with the appetizer. Was told it took so long because of the hash browns. No apology. Appetizer was brought with out the sauces. Food was just luke warm. Asked for more coffee and wife asked for more butter for pancakes but didn't get until after wife's pancakes were to cold to eat we brought our appetizer home to eat later where we can heat up in Micro wave. When checking out I complained to hostess who told me it was server 329's first day received no apology. I told her then she needs more training or to be shadowed . The hostess reply to me four times was its the waitress first day still no apology. I wasn't looking for a discount or free food but an apology would have went a long way. Never did see a manager the whole time we were there. you can bet I will make sure my family and all my friends are warned about this location.

We rarely go our for Lunch or ...

We rarely go our for Lunch or Dinner, however, the last time we had lunch "Bacon, steeak eggs, hash browns", the steak tasted like chewing gum. Since we were there with our friends, we din't want to make a scene. The bill came to $19.20 for 2 guests, and for 80 cents more we could have had Dinner at a famous Steak House. Next time, we will only order a Pine Float (water with a floating tooth pick).
