Provided by YP.comThis is the worst "medical" facility I've ever been to. I was having severe deep nerve pain on a Friday, developed a rash that was diagnosed as Shingles on Saturday and given a very, very lose dose of Neurotin, which by the time I realized wasn't helping my EXTREME PAIN at all, my normal clinic was closed. I had an appointment scheduled for the following Monday, but I couldn't live with the pain. So, since all I could do was cry because of the pain, and I could barely walk, my husband drove me to this urgent care with hopes that they could help me. We sat in the waiting room, while I was crying, because of the stabbing pains in my back, hip, and leg. Meanwhile, we could hear the Physician Assistant, the Doctor, and the receptionist gabbing behind the closed plastic window. They were obviously taking their sweet time while I was in agony. When I finally got back to the room, the Physician Assistant immediately came in with an accusatory tone, like he immediately assumed I was a drug seeking patient, and I was faking being in pain. Even after showing him the characteristic Shingles rash AND the drugs I was prescribed, he pointed at my back and hip, and said, "Here's the thing, I don't see why you are in pain there. You should just be having a burning feeling with the rash." He also told me that "you have to be exposed to someone with chickenpox again to get shingles." This is TOTALLY WRONG. HE WAS A COMPLETE IDIOT AND AN A**HOLE. He treated me like a criminal while I was writhing in pain. Shingles is one of the most painful diseases out there, and it causes severe pain, both with deep nerves and on the skin. HE SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT. The doctor, meanwhile, never came in to check on me. He stayed in the other room. The PA eventually wrote me a very small script for Tramadol, and I think it was just to get me out of the office. My husband said he saw the PA looking at Shingles symptoms on WebMD before he came into my room... like he didn't know what it was. And, he proved that when he opened his mouth. After we left, my husband went back inside to give him a piece of his mind, and they wouldn't open the plastic sliding window. They acted like he wasn't there. This is the WORST CLINIC I've ever been to. I will write a review on every board I can. I am contacting the clinic themselves and the State Medical Board of Ohio.
These people should not be practicing.
