wow... that's terrible! they should be fired for that!

This place is absolutely ridiculous! There are two managers there that are so rude. I was at the register one day and the cashier accidentally closed her drawer without giving me my change, this was obviously an accident that happens from time to time. She had to call a manager to come open her drawer for her because for security they don't have access. She paged for a manager three times as we stood there waiting. I asked where they were and she said most likely in the office around the corner. She pointed me in the direction and I walked over and peeked my head in the door. There were two managers sitting in the office literally less than 10 feet from the register. I asked if they could come up front and the girl gave me the dirtiest look like I (the customer) was interrupting them. I could hear their conversation as I approached the office....they were talking about their children. They were both extremely rude to me the entire time. After I got my cash and they ran back to the office I asked the cashier for their names and titles. Allison the Assistant Manager and Phil the General Manager. So much for customer service. It took over 15 minutes for me to get my change back. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!!!! Petco should invest in better management.
