I found out about Motorsports from a friend, in about 1979, as a local shop that could and would maintain and fix BMW 2002's, as well as an excellent dealership, but for much less. My friend, who gave me the reference, said it all: "He's totally unspoiled!": someone who does things right the first time, and charges only for his own ACTUAL time on the job. He fixes everything from classic Lotus race car engines to Volvos to Toyotas to Fords.Like most small shops, he does NOT cater to ultra-high-price exotics like Ferraris and Lambroginis, because "I can't afford $2000 to refinish a fender on a car [that expensive] if I make a mistake and drop a wrench on it."The owner doesn't advertise. He doesn't need to: he has his customers' word. Only the very best businesses do that.
