Best of...Nicaragua!

I love the food! My dad spent some years as a child in Nicaragua, so when he found out that this restaurant existed he wanted to share the food of his culture with his family. My personal favorite item it the dried plantines and fried pork. :) I only wish that there was one closer to my house, but the drive is well worth the wait.

Quality of Food and Establishment has changed

Not many places can you find delicious "Central America" food with all the trimmings, fried plantains, Yucca, Gallo Pinto..Baho, Vigoron.. yummy.. was my favorite place for a long time. Unfortunately, the last four times I have been there (lunch and dinner) I noticed the prices are way up however the establishment is not as clean as it use to be. The food is also not as plentiful nor is it as fresh. I hate to say this but I also noticed a couple of small roaches (one on a wall and the other on our table). I was embarrassed to say the least because I had boasted to a new coworker and it was her first time. I am not sure if they are under new management or why the change.. They have been exceptional for many years. I hope they "clean up" because I miss my fried Plantains :(
