We have gone here every year for around 10+ years. There's many weekly activities done by the naturalist, who is very nice. We have gotten to know people who work there and are fairly close with all of them. I love to call this place my second home.

We were extremely disappointed in Pike Lake this year. We were there at 2:30pm-cabins ready-and were told we couldn't get keys until 4pm! The fire pit has no benches-they were taken away-and if it is muddy the pit is not usable-maybe some gravel around it would help. Also the cabin blankets had holes in them, the refrigerator doors were unusable, the couch was in bad shape (almost on the ground when you sit on it). We were in cabin 24 and have, for two years now, complained about screens out and burners on the stove not working-they finally got around to fixing them the night we finally got in. Pike Lake's cabins are not being kept up like they should be. Very disappointed in the conditions this year and that has nothing to do with the dam being reconstructed! Our tax monies are not being spent wisely at this park.
