Provided by YP.comI went to Mazda with the intention to browse the used car selection. Immediately upon arrival and before even having to find the entrance of the dealership, I was greeted by a manager who directed us to a salesperson after learning I was interested in “just looking”.
The gentleman he introduced me to had a calm, relaxed and professional vibe to him which immediately made me feel at ease. My experience with car salesmen is they are very pushy, are quick to point me to the most expensive cars on the lot, want to run my credit, etc. and it’s just frightening. All of the staff on board were exact opposite and made for a calm and comfortable buying experience.
Overall; my encounter with everyone on here was beyond excellent. Every employee around was also indirectly helpful by just having a smile on their faces. They all are very professional, positive, and eager to assist and ensure satisfaction. I HIGHLY recommend Bakersfield Mazda and am so thankful I was able to have my car buying experience with them. I look forward to many years with this dealership.

Provided by YP.comLet me tell you about our experience with a great customer service rep at Mazda. Paul Lopez. This man worked for us. After being turned down at 2 dealerships our credit isn't the best, but we have income. Paul went to work for us.
Now I have to say it took some work on his part, and a lot of patience and yes we needed a cosigner. BUT he made sure my family got into a car that we could afford without over extending ourselves. We had certain parameters to be met. So he went to work with his manager and his finance manager and their team, and found a bank that would finance us.
After their hard work we came in and drove home with our new car (well new to us). A 2013 Mazda CX-5. A we are in love. I never thought much about Mazda, but once Paul told us what would be in our price range, I did some research on this vehicle. The big plug was from Car & Driver Magazine online, they really raved about this car. And after 1 day having it, I can't believe this is a small SUV. Because it drives like a little sports car, with lots of great creature comforts, great gas mileage, and some serious torque and HP for a little in-line 4.
So if you are in the Market for a New or Used car, consider a Mazda, and ask for Paul Lopez. You will never meet a more friendly, straight forward guy. He won't just sell you a car, he'll take care of you and your family. Thanks Paul & the Bakersfield Mazda Team. You have made a customer for life.

Provided by YP.comNO WORSE DEALERSHIP AROUND. Sold me a Miata that the detailer had flooded with water. Two weeks later the check engine light came on.
When I came in to complain the the salesman, EDDIE, he threatened to call the police on me.
EDDIE YOU ARE A PRICK. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. Read the other horrible reviews!

Provided by YP.comJust came from the Bakersfield Mitsubishi parts dept. as I needed to get a roof rack for my Mitsubishi Outlander. They actually had one in stock and I did not have to order it, I was very surprised and this came as good news to me. My impatient husband would have probably been upset, now I can have it installed by the service dept. thank you for making my day.

Provided by YP.comI just went into the dealership to have an oil change done and I was surprised by the price it was only $59.95 for synthetic oil. The customer service was amazing these people know what they are doing over there. I will be back because I like the way I was treated like a family member and not just a customer!!!

Provided by YP.comI went to Bakersfield Mitsubishi recently after doing a ton of research online, I am was shopping to buy the new 2014 Outlander. When I arrived at Mitsubishi I was greeted by 3 different salesman lol I chose one and we got started right away with the car I knew I had wanted. My Salesman was very nice and he took me for a test drive and showed me all the feauture's the vehicle had to offer. I was sold on it instantly and then we started the paperwork process, which was actually a lot shorter than I thought it was going to take. So I love my new car and I didn't feel taken advantage of so not all Salesman are jerks. Thank Bakersfield Mitsubishi!!!!

Provided by YP.comI just had my very 1st oil change done on my new Mitsubishi Outlander, and WOW what great service I received. The wait time was shorter than expected, the Service Advisor Catrina was very helpful and she walked me to and from my car. They even did a complimentary hand car wash that took on 15mn. I will bring my Toyota here now as well because of the great Service we got!!!!

Provided by YP.comI just had my car serviced over the wkd at Bakersfield Mazda, and it was excellent CUSTOMER SERVICE the service advisor was really nice she answered all my questions that I had. She had me in and out in 45 mn. and they even hand washed my car for free SCORE!!! I was so pleased I am now bringing my two other cars here even though there Toyota's.

Provided by YP.comMy husband and I were looking all over to purchase a New Car, I had been to dealerhip after dealership and over & over it was the same thing we can't help you your credit score is too low. I was just about to give up when a friend suggested Bakersfield Mazda. I went down there with my husband and we actually got qualifed and they were able to help us buy a new car. I am so happy with my Mazda CX7, the staff was so helpful with all of my husbands questions and there were a lot of them. I was givin a tour of the facility including the Service & Parts department and I ended up ordering some accessories on the spot for my new car. I thought it was so nice that there is still trustworthy dealership like Bakesrfield Mazda out there.

Provided by YP.comI just bought a brand new Mazda5 from Bakersfield Mazda, I was given a complete tour of the Service department by a lady named Alisha in Customer Relations. I as a customer thought this was very helpful, I met the whole service staff and since my 1st service appt was months away I at the time did not want to schedule it yet. I now know faces with names and the way I was treated was like family, not like other dealershipes I have purchased from, that once you buy a new car they only want the sale and then forget you!!! I will be a loyal customer for this reason.

Provided by YP.comI went into the Bakersfield Mazda dealership recently to have a regular scheduled oil change done. I was so impressed with the time that I was there, it only took 40mn and it included a complimentary hand carwash. The lady in Customer Relations called me and set up my appt. and she also called to remind me, she was so nice and I was glad because I would have forgot otherwise. My service advisor also checked in on me about halfway through and updated me on the status of my vehicle. The best Service I have recieved in a long time.

I was so pleased with the Customer Service, I was greeted and welcomed on the Service drive before I could even get out of my car. They had me in and out in 45mn flat and that included a hand car wash, The service staff was more than hepful from the moment I arrived until I left the dealership and my Service advisor Catrina really took the time to explain in detail my repairs that I just had done.

Took our car in for scheduled 15K service- they sold us new brakes (never did produce the old brakes after saying they had them for 55 days) and left off our oil cap and has been dragging us out over 60 days on making good on that. Since they left it off causing my new car to smoke and possibly have engine damage it is completely reasonable that they replace the $1500 warranty that I bought from them that is 3rd party and can now be voided due to their actions. Their response has been to ignore me and treat me like, well you know. I'm not sure if I would ever buy a mazda again, I know I would never buy at Bakersfield Mazda owned by Haddad ever again. For the on going saga you can hit our website http://bakersfieldmazdasucks.com/ yes, they made me that mad and this is the extreme measures you too may have to take if you buy from them.

AFTER EVERYTHING HAS BEEN DONE, I TRIED CONTACTING THEIR PEOPLE AGAIN TO ASK SOME QUESTIONS ABOUT PURCHASING EXTENDED WARRANTY... IT HAS BEEN ALMOST 5 DAYS NOW SINCE I HAVE CALLED BUT NO ONE HAS BOTHERED TO CALL ME BACK....
SERVICE IS REALLY REALLY REALLY BAD!!!! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE!!!!
