Rude service. I asked for my daughters RX and they gave me some of it. They said the PD was $15 more even though they measured her for that during her exam!
New update! The situation has been resolved. The doctor, once we were able to speak to him was happy to work with us.

Dr. N was very helpful, but some.of his upfront staff need to be educated in customer services, and courtesy. The cost are to high if you dont have insurance. I took my own frames in to put new prescription glasses in and it still cost me $600. That is ridiculous!

The wait wasn't too bad. Service was great! I'm a little picky so I took (without exaggerating) about an hour to pick my glasses, the person assisting me was awesome! The Optometrist in general is great! Both with Spanish speakers and with kids! + they have a great variety of glasses.

Alan Ngyuen (doctor) is so bad at his job he cant even get the right prescriptions for himself. The employees were all female and spent most of their time looking at themselves in the mirror than helping a patient.

They don't even deserve a 1 st...

They don't even deserve a 1 star rating, they deserve a negative 5.

You get an appointment, & I realize that some doctors run late, but the

staff is to busy giggling and talking to worry about putting your folder in the right

order as you came in. So the appointment time isnt met, believe me, Waited one hour.

On top of that they called 2 people in that came in after me. Another funny thing while I

was there a woman came in and said her glasses she had for 2 weeks already had a crack in them. I turned too my family I was with & said, I'll defintally be stepping up

and using lenscrafters. These people are very unprofessional in what they do in there practice, & the doctor isnt too bright himself. Suprised they havent been shut down or sued.

This place is horrible. I usua...

This place is horrible. I usually go to Dr. Ratty's office, but came here because Dr. Ratty's office was so booked and I couldn't get an appointment in before my eye vision insurance was expired.

First of all, I went in specifically for contacts. I even wrote it down on my initial paperwork they had me filled out. I went in for the exam and the doctor checked my eyes and perform the exam. I told him I wanted contacts and switch back and forth between that and my glasses. He told me that it would be $130 extra, which I thought it was odd, because my insurance pays for comprehensive eye exam and I just have to tell them for glasses or contacts. Not both. They just suckered to pay extra for contacts when I could have had one or the other. I needed contacts, so I paid the $130 charge for contact fitting and glasses.

Well, I told him I only wanted contacts, but he told me that I can't do that. I was informed by the doctor personally that the $130 charge would include any future fitting. I paid the $130 and was given trial contacts to come back in a week.

That was back in November. Fast fasward to now in April, throughout the time that has passed, work and kids got in the way of going back in for the initial fitting. However, I have always called to reschedule for a better time and was told nothing about having to come back in for the first week, in order to avoid any "office fees." They could have told me the trial contacts that were given to me weren't any good after x amount of months. They could have told me I needed to go in a week after the initial fitting to avoid fees. Nothing was written on paper or posted about these "office fee." I admit I could have committed to the appointment, but had the informed me each and every time I called to reschedule, I wouldn't have waited so long. I was under the impression no future fees for contact fittings means no future fees!

I finally called and said I needed to get contacts fitted and the lady who answered the phone said to just walk in. I walk in on a Friday and was told that the doctor is out and I needed an appointment. I told the girls in the front that I was told to just walk in! So now, they are going to charge me a $65 "office fee" because I waited so long to get my contacts fitted. That doesn't seem fair at all. All I wanted was contacts prescription and they won't give it to me. Not only am I out the $130 charge for an initial fee that I didn't need to pay, they were gonna charge me an additional $65 "office fee" after being told by the doctor personally that there won't an any future charges. Not the case here.

Also, since I wanted contacts and paid out of pocket for it anyways, my insurance covered my glasses. I told the girl that was helping me that I am on a budget. I only want to look at glasses that insurance will cover. No out of pocket cost. They tried to show me all the high end stuff! They also tried to coax me into getting extras for my glasses, like polarized lenses or scratch resistance material, because the doctor "recommended" it. They claim all the information given to me was because they had "new" people. Um, I have dealt with the same lady ever since from day one. So that's a lame excuse.

This place is all about making money any way they see fit. They don't care about what the customers' are. I would never, never go there again. Ever. The worst place to go to get glasses or contacts. Their business practice is below standards and is very shady.

The same as the other reviews

Horrible staff. No communication at all. They pretend to order things and after three weeks you have to call and you wil be told nothing was ordered! Also soo unprofessional. They eat their lunch at the front desk and ignore you while doing it. This is the worst eye doctor ever! You get better service at a lower expected place like lens crafters.

2 months, poor quality work, bad service, still no glasses

I ordered glasses 2 months ago. I have 1 legally blind eye and when the dr asked what I wanted to do with the lens over that eye, I told him to make it the same so it would look even. The Dr changed the prescription without informing me after I placed my order with the sales people out front. 3 weeks later, they came in and I saw the prescription was not the same for both lenses. I refused delivery and demanded they give me what I paid for. So they send it back and another 3 weeks later, it came back and after 1 day of wearing them, I knew something was wrong. I took it back and after 10 mins of arguing with the dr because he would not believe me when I told him it was not clear, he put them in the machine that measures prescriptions and when the prescription popped up different than my prescription, he snatched it off the machine and said he couldn't get a good read and would send them back only because I requested it. 3 more weeks later, they come in again and one lens is sticking out 1/4" on one lens, and flush on the other. This whole time, they would not call me to let me know the glasses were in. I had to keep calling them to ask. A few times I called from work and they would say can we call you back at this number with an update and then they'd call my house number to avoid talking to me. I asked for my money back because I was seriously dissatisfied and didn't want to wait another 3 weeks for them to send the glasses back and MAYBE get it right. They said no refunds. I said I didn't want a refund on the lenses. I was willing to take a hit on the lenses just so I could stop dealing with them. I just wanted a refund on the frames. They said there was nothing wrong with the frames, so I couldn't return them. I had already checked with the attorney general's office and it clearly stated that if a merchant does not offer a refund, it must be posted at the entrance and at the register and that a stamp on the receipt is not sufficient. There were no signs anywhere in the shop. I informed them it was against the law to not let me return it and they continued to refuse.

If at all possible, avoid this place! I have read a few bad reviews about this place and their doctors after all this has happened.

Do not recommend this place/staff.

Poor service. Entire staff was very unprofessional. Calls were avoided and not returned for two weeks or longer. Toke too long just to get a pair of trial lenses (about 30 days). After all the frustration and waiting so patiently for over two months, doctor was not able to get the correct prescription necessary. In fact it was far off. All previously visited eye doctors from different offices have been able to give me the right prescription which was the same as now. Due to insurance purposes I had to go to this place. Another dissatisfaction was the overly priced fee that insurances normally don't cover. For that price one can get more for their money with a skilled doctor at a professional, faster and friendly place elsewhere.
