Provided by YP.comFood not fresh. Everything is canned, and jarred. I had the pasta trio and my wife had the chicken alfredo. You can tell that the sauce is some sort of store bought jar for both the red pasta sauce and alfredo. Also, the chicken used in my wife s plate was canned chicken, with an almost tuna like consistency. The bread is not fresh and is store bought from FoodMax or another similar supermarket. To put it short this food is not for refined palates. To put the icing on the cake the owner over charged me. The total cost for my dinner was $26 and he ended up charging me $266. When I saw my bank statement I was appalled! I called, he had us drive back, which is 20 min. He is lacking integrity. When we returned he offered a very sarcastic apology and did not comp us anything in return. If I had to choose between inauthentic Italian food, I would rather go for Olive Garden next time. Last time we re going there! Paul Irvine please save this restaurant!!! Restaurant Impossible.

Provided by YP.comThe food is OK, the service was definitely horrible. The worst I've experienced yet. The waitress slammed about every dish on our table and gave us attitude when requesting separate checks. Didn't do any good to complaint to the owner since she sided with the waitress by stating it would be fine, while they talk about our table and pointed at us while we were looking. NO RESPECT FOR CUSTOMER.

Provided by YP.comOk, I used to feel the same way all of you guys do. It WAS my favorite restaurant in Bakersfield, until they ruined it for me on Valentine's Day. My husband called in a take-out order and brought it home to surprise me with a candle light dinner. I was so surprised until we opened up our food and it wasn't what we ordered. Wanting our correct order we drove back - we live near Gosford and White Ln. Our correct food had been sitting (not under a warmer) for over an hour and a half and we never once got a "Sorry" for them. I continued to ask for some kind of compensation for their mistake and they said "No, we don't do that." I asked for him to work with me a little, they mess up my order, I drove all the way back, ruined my Valentine's night, and they wouldn't do anything for me. In fact, the young man and his Mommy both told me to get out and never come back again. The young man shoved my food that was on the counter, into my stomach and said "Leave." As his Mommy walked away she yelled in front of the entire restaurant "Go eat Olive Garden's $hi$!!" This just shows how classy they really are. My service there has always been great until you have a disagreement with them. I know this probably won't keep people from giving them business, but just be warned that they are careless when you try and correct them. I will never be going there again!!!! Period!

Provided by YP.comThis little jewel is hidden in a dingy strip mall near the old Montgomery Wards building. The food is always great and the service fast and friendly. Don't forget to order the sauteed mushrooms for an appetizer. If you're going during peak hours, like dinner, time call a head or you'll likely have to wait for a table. Also they keep goofy hours and are closed during the mid after noon. From 2 - 4 if I recall correctly.

Provided by YP.comI love this place. My husband took me here for the first time not to long ago. Really, it's a little hole in the wall but don't be fooled by the appearance. You will definitley get full here if you don't mind waiting a bit. Red wines are fabulous and food is fresh! One of my favorite places.

Provided by YP.comI always seem to come without a reservation and have to wait. The place is kind of small and tacky, but in a very charming way. It's the variety and freshness of ingredients that I love about this place
