I have been a loyal customer for this company for over 10 years. They are all very professional, they come every time I need them, cost is reasonable and they care for my pets in regards the chemicals they use to protect my house and my business from pests.

Unfortunate what happened to the other reviewer on here.
But I have used them for over 20 years at my home and 10 years at my business. I have never had a problem with them. Their office staff has always been helpful and professional. When we have had a issue between services they have always responded promptly.

Buyer beware! I can not recommend this company for use. Here is our story:



We used Killian's for a short time before we lost our home to foreclosure. This was a very difficult time for our family as my husband was without a job for a year; at the end, a two-month pest control bill for $120 fell between the cracks as our family relocated.



Here we are, nearly three years later, contacted by a collection agency with a bill for nearly $1000 regarding Killian's Pest Control. It seems that the "contract" stated a $25 late fee would be assessed for each month the bill was late.



I immediately contacted the Killians office to explain what had happened and offered to pay the original $120. The office manager told me the only way I could get the account called out of collections was to pay the original amount, plus two months late fee ($50) and sign up for another year of contracted service. As it was explained to me, they don't care about what happened to our family three years ago, it was not their fault it happened, nor was it their fault that they could not reach us before the bill tallied nearly $1000. They just want to be paid what they are contractually entitled to. I signed the contract so I have no right to question the amount owed now.



It feels a little like blackmail for this company to demand that we sign up for service again as a condition of getting the extra $800 removed from collections.

I explained that we no longer own a home and it is not possible for us to sign a one year contract. I would really like to pay the debt and be done with it but I sincerely feel an extra $800 is outrageous and exploitive.



My experience with Killian's has been humiliating and frustrating - so why am I sharing this embarrassing story (that some may or may not feel sympathy towards?) Well...because I would not have chosen this place if I had known this outcome was a possibility. There are too many other business choices that enhance the community - instead of prey on it.
