Best most experienced and professional tailoring anywhere in socal!! Levi can do anything, make it perfect and super fast!! Her expertise is unmatched, she can design and alter like the top notch fashion designers in NY and LA!!! Great attitude, fixed my daughters pageant dress in record time and flawless. I will only go to her, even when I lived in Orange Cty and Los Angeles!! Most trusted highest reccomend!!!

Levie is a rude woman who talked down to me. She hemmed 2 pairs of NEW slacks and 1 pair of NEW jeans. $250.00 worth of new clothes. She measured and hemmed the pants left leg 1/2 inch shorter than right leg. I took them back and asked to have them hemmed evenly and she argued, talked to me like I was stupid and told me my body is crooked. I asked her to forget my crooked body and hem them evenly. She made me sign a paper that I agree to her measurement. It was a ploy so she could mess them up. She cut 1/2 inch of each leg now they are too short and still uneven by 1/2 inch. She ruined my NEW pants. They don't deserve even 1 star. She is an awful woman. Doesn't know what she is doing. Do yourself a favor and don't go there.

As the owner of Levie's, I personally guarantee our work is up to par. I have been in business since 1994 and I not once have I had a wedding dress issue that resulted in a gown not being complete. To avoid mistakes on items such as a wedding gown, I always make sure the bride is fitted prior to leaving my establishment to okay the alterations are correct and the fit is as the bride requested. This case would be no different than any other order.



As for the timeframe. Clients are given a due date but that may be pushed back. In some cases, we discover there are issues with the construction of the dress only after opening up the seams. There is no real way to determine these issues beforehand. but I try to accommodate my clients as best I can without compromising the quality of our work.



I am not certain what happened in brido's review but I would never allow a client to leave unsatisfied.

I wouldn't even give them a one star. It was the worse choice I made. I did not really do any research about alteration places I just chose first one I saw on the internet and closer to my area and also it was referred by a shop called "Torres" in a Bakersfield mall. They claim they sent all the clients there.

I took my wedding dress to this place and I was told that the dress will be done one week before I left for my wedding. I was supposed to pick up my dress on Monday, it was not complete, and I was to return on Wednesday, and again was not complete. Then I was to return on Friday which was the last day before I left, and this shop was closed. I was eventually contacted at 3pm and my dress was apparently ready.



I returned home and I tried my dress on, it was not done. The alteration that took place was incorrect. The worst thing was they cut portion of the dress out and the edges were uneven plus other things were not done. I hated my dress, it looked terrible. Fortunately two days before my wedding day I found somebody in another state where my wedding took place and the lady did unbelievable great job correctoing all mistakes that this shop made costing me the same amound that I have paid for the first alteration.



If you considering an alteration shop I would advise you to chose another one rather than this one.

The owner was in-considered to my needs, unprofessional and irresponsible.
