From first phone call with Keith to the packing, storage and moving, these guys were terrific. Most helpful and patient with older folks. Kudos to the actual moving men: Brandon, Louie and Mike who were the best ever and we've moved a lot!. Nothing was damaged as they were very careful. Highly recommend Smooth Move in Bakersfield

Smooth Move was not smooth at all! Movers put a

4by3 foot...one inch beveled glass table top...cost 425.00, a 4by3 beveled mirror...cost 490.00, a 27 inch tv ....520.00 in a flemzy big box on a dolly with other small items in it. They told me to take out the little items in it and left it next to the steps on the doily. As the mover came down the steps his arm hit the box and the mirror, glass top and TV broke. The mover denied doing it .... I was behind him and saw him do it and the owner told me I was a liar... He said that if his mover said he didn't do it... He was going to believe him... Not me. He said he would only give me 100.00 off the move to replace the broken items.... 65 cents per pound. Move ended up costing me from Bakersfield to Cambria....the ordinal amount of 1,100.00 plus another 1,400.00 in damages. At the end of the day 2,500.00. so if you are moving..... Cheaper to go with a major moving company that doesn't have movers that lie, bosses that don't believe the customer who witnessed the event and better insurance on items that may break . Smooth Move needs to change their name to Rough Move.

Smooth move did a great job packing and moving my family across town. They were efficient and took great care of my belongings. The 3 men were very kind friendly and hardworking. I will defiantly use them again and tell all my friends how Smooth my move was. Thanks guys!

SmoothMove exceeded all of my expectations! My house closed sooner than I thought it would and it caught me off guard. I called SmoothMove to schedule my move and they were out there the very next day! They were clean cut well-spoken and all 3 of the men introduced themselves to me which made me feel more comfortable. They finished in 1 day and nothing got damaged not even a scratch!!!!! Do not waist your time or money with some big corporate moving company. I am constantly moving all over California due to my job, 6 times in the last 7 years. I have used the large corporate moving companies and nothing compares to my experience with Smooth Move. Their price is beyond fair and service is exceptional. I have set them up with my company and have done several for them with nothing but satisfaction from my co-workers. Do not waist your time with anyone else.

I have moved several times in the past and have never received customer service like I did when I used SmoothMove. They went above and beyond expectations. All of their employees were clean cut, hardworking, and fun to be around. They made a usually very stressful situation fun and enjoyable. I would never use another moving company besides SmoothMove.

Chris, and his crew are hard workers. Fast, but careful and very focused on getting the job completed as soon as possiable. We would use SmoothMove any time one of our family members or friends needed the help of a trusted moving company.
