Provided by YPmobileI would like to start by letting you know that this is my second stay at your hotel I had stayed in June for about 5 days after a surgery and I received the best service the best room clean and very roomy and a very nice and compassionate staff. I really got a lot of rest it was quiet every time I walked out of my room someone always asked how I was feeling and if there was anything they could do for me. It was the best stay I have had in a hotel in years . The staff was very friendly always smiling I left there feeling great and loving your hotel. I just got back home from my second stay at your hotel from September 22-23 again I was very pleased with the room very clean and roomy , the staff again very friendly and very helpful , I used the gym very nice equipment and fans on was nice , then I took a swim in your pool it was very relaxing and the pool was very clean after my swim I sat at one of your tables by the pool and got about 20 minutes of son which again was nice to have chairs tables umbrellas and lounge chairs to lay on. It was very quiet I got plenty of rest and them I went to have a free hot breakfast they offer to guests that stay there it was very nice great variety from different cold cereals to waffles you make yourself bread , bagels , mini muffins , cresants and coffee tea and a few different kinds of juices and fresh fruit and probably a few things I missed but it was very good. When I checked out it was quick and the employees are so nice and helpful , I would highly recommend this hotel to stay at if your in the Bakersfield area , it's very close to restraunts stores and gas stations and close to the hospital too. I would like to thank all of the employees at this Ramada for making both of my stays very pleasant and you are the only hotel I will stay at when I'm in the area . I hope that the boss who ever is in charge reads this too. I will be telling all my family and friends if they travel this is the number 1 spot to stay at will no issues no problems and excellent customer service from the front desk to house keeping you all run a great hotel and you all seem to work as a team great job and thank you for providing this guest with the best stay and service she has had In many years thanks again to you all for the wonderful stay Ms Donate

It was the customer service that i received that made this stay the worst I've ever experienced at any hotel. I had checked in for one night and everything was okay until the next morning i had left and realized around 9:30 that i had left my medication in the room. I contacted the hotel immediately and spoke to a women named Jackie and requested that no one enter the room since i would be returning before check out to retrieve some of my personal items that had been left behind. She seemed understanding and very nice. When i arrive to the hotel she had to escort me back to the room since it was in my fiannces name not mine. I was horrified when she opened the door the room was trashed. It looked as if someone had ransacked the entire room. The window was open to the room and a screen visibly destroyed i immediately told her that this was not the way the room had been left. Her response was that i was going to have to pay for the screen. I continued to explain that my medication and other personal items were missing and it was clearly visible that the screen had been pulled from the outside as if someone was breaking in thru the outside. She was rude, impatient and treated me as if i were lying. She told me I would have to pay $50 for the screen. When I requested to pay with a check or card she said that i could only pay with cash which seemed odd to me. I immediately called my Fiance who received that same amount of customer care. I had to return to work so I requested that I return at 5 to pay since I would have to go get the cash and I didn't want it to go on my fiancés business card. She said 1 was the latest she could wait. My fiancé contacted her and she agreed to 5 after being on the phone for almost an hour. She then stated that the screen was able to be repaired and that we would not be charged for it but claimed that we had stole a coffee pot and iron so now we would be paying $50 for that. This was ridiculous and an insult we requested we speak to a manager and she said that she would have him call. From that day forward we contacted Jackie everyday requesting to speak to the owner Ken. Finally after 5 days we spoke to Ken who said there was nothing that could be done. We could not contact corporate or be reimburse for the items that had been taking. Ken also agreed that it didn't seem probable that we would take those items but there was nothing he could do for us. I requested that he look at the video surveillance and he stated that there is no video surveillance on that side of the building. So I`m out $50 and extremely disgusted by the hospitality. All in all worst stay would never recommend that anyone stay at any Ramada clearly any personal items are at risk and if not then you could be charged for an item that you didn't take. Disgusted by this hotel, the chain and Wyndham resorts.

Provided by YP.comSTOOD THERE on 6/5-7/09. THE ROOM WAS FILTHY JUST TO PUT IT KINDLY 7 UNSANITARY....BLOOD STAINS ON THE COUCH, ON THE CURTAINS, AND ON THE BOX SPRING MATTRESS. PULLED OUT THE COUCH AND FILTH, DIRT, GRUNGE FLEW OUT OF THE RUMPLE SHEETS. THE BATHROOM HAD WATER STAINS ABOVE THE BASE BOARDS ON THE WALLPAPER. IT SMELLED AS IF THERE IS H20 ROT UNDERNEATH THE TILE. THE TILE WAS CHIPPED OFF THE WALL AND CRACKED. IT LOOKED AS IF THEY TRIED TO PATCH IT W/ CAULKING. THE SHEETS ON THE BED WERE DINGY N YELLOW. I ASKED FOR EXTRA SHEETS AND THEY BROUGHT ME 2 FITTED THAT LOOKED THE SAME AS THE ONES ON THE BED. THE NEXT DAY THEY DID'N'T CHANGE THE SHEETS. WHO KNOWS WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME THEY CHANGED THEM. AS SOON AS I LAID DOWN TO SLEEP I STARTED ITCHING. THAT WENT ON FOR 2 HOURS STRAIGHT UNTIL MY SPOUSE GOT TIRED OF ME SCRATCHING. HAD TO TAKE A SHOWER, CHANGE MY P.J.'S, THEN SLEPT COULDN'T GO BACK TO SLEEP.@ 4:30 A.M. FINALLY I LAID ON THE COFFEE TABLE SO I WOULDN'T ITCH FROM THE CRITTERS IN THE BED. HAD A RASH (red, raise itching)THAT SPREAD ALL OVER MY ARMS AND LEGS. WENT TO DR. TO GET MEDICATION. REQUESTED A DIFFERENT ROOM BUT THERE WEREN'T ANY OTHER ROOMS AVAILABLE. ALSO INFORMED FRONT DESK OF MY CONDITION; DIDN'T GET MUCH OF A RESPONSE OTHER THAN OH................BEWARE.... YOU MIGHT CATCH SOMETHING LURKING IN UNSEEN PLACES THAT AREN'T IN CLEANED CONDITIONS.
TELLING EVERYONE AND ANYONE DON'T GO THERE.
