I was nervous about going because I heard bad things. I was pleasantly surprised. The drinks were strong, the bar tender was awesome. It didnt get crowded at all and seemed to a regulars only kind of vibe.

I cannot believe this bar is still open. We visited several years ago and the service was terrible. A short while ago we went again and had a party of 6. The service was so bad I could not believe any people were in the bar. It was Saturday night and with only about 15 people including our six were in the bar. The bartender was a complete a$$. I don't believe he has anyother words in his vocublary other than f#ck. When he made our drinks he put very little alcohol in them. Now in my past experience when a bar does that that usually means they are having difficulties financially. Well a little research and my point was proven the owner has a judgement against him for one of his other businesses - $60K...ouch! It appears he did not pay one of his suppliers. My guess is that this bar is going to go the way of his other business.



Stay away from this bar due to the lousy service and drinks. If you desire a good time in the same area I would recommend RJ's or just about any other bar in Bakersfield.

Totally agree with this guy. I tell every person I have a chance to tell never to go the RockStarz bar because of the horrible display of professionalism the owner displays to his source of income. BAD OWNER MAKES A BAD BUSINESS. I hope he turns it around and learns to be customer savvy.

I was out celebrating my birthday with my girlfriend and 4 friends. We got in and went to the bar ordered 6 beers and we were trying to order shots when the bartender(who we later found out is the owner)yelled we were taking to f-----ng long and we needed to hurry. We told him we were trying to decide on a round of shots for our group. He said we need to be f-----ng ready when we come to the bar because he didn't have time to wait. I asked him what his problem was and he immediately yelled for security to escort us out of his bar. As i was walking out he proceeded to call me a beaner, spik, and a f-g. When i got outside I asked security what his problem was. They replied "He gets that way sometimes, hes the owner and he can do what he wants." WOW, what a way to run a business! No wonder there was a huge line at Randolphs to get in and none at Rockstarz! I intend to tell everyone who will listen to me about my ROCKSTAR experience.
