There was a fire outside my apartment last night. The manager came through and yelled for everyone to get out of their apartments ONLY 1 time... she did not yell more than that, she did not make sure people were out of their homes. I didn't even hear it. My children and I were asleep. My friend who was on the couch thank goodness heard it and smelled the fire and woke us up. When we got outside everyone, including the manager were just watching the blazing bush like it was a candle. A couple men grabbed the emergency fire extinguishers, which didn't even work. The manager left to go home to her teenagers. She didn't check to see if everyone was ok or out of their homes, she didn't even come back. My friend had to show the firemen where she lived. She didn't care about the tenants. She didn't care about the complex.



My friend ran to get my hose and the 2 of us got the fire under control. If it wasn't for my friend that fire would've taken over our complex before the fire dept got there and my boys and I would've died. An older couple that live below me didn't even come out until they heard the fire trucks. They would've been dead too. This management is a joke they don't give a f* about it's tenants just our money. They would've stood there and watched us die just liked they sat there and watched this fire blaze higher and higher.
