Taco Bell is a Tex-Mex based fast-food chain serving a small variety of foods, most of which use meat, refried beans, cheese, rice, and other ingredients. This Taco Bell location has 1 dining room and a one way drive-thru.



The arquitecture of the store is mediocre at best. When I drove up to the drive-thru, there was a sign saying "9ft or under," although there was no roof above the cars. Inside the building doesn't offer much more common sense as the color scheme and design are like those for a kindergarten plant. Instead of just having some wallpaper for decoration, the walls and roofs look like colored toy blocks with no effort put into them.



The customer service is somewhat of an oddball at best, and at other times ridiculous. Half the time, a cashier is not even present at the front counter, and customers have to wait 3 minutes just to get someone's attention. In addition to that, the employees are not as concerned for customers as they should be, and often times they will either mess up your order or will pick a fight with you. And since there are plenty of fast-food joints to go to, there is no excuse for such behavior.



The food is not made the way they should be... which is real nice. I would get a beef taco at lunch time, and it's cold. Not only that, the vegetable toppings and cheese were not fresh.



It also should be noted that there is no cleanliness here... at all. Often times, you will be searching for that "cleanest" table, and find issues with the soda fountain's disaster. And to make it worse, that's the condition of the restaurant just after opening the doors at 10 in the morning.



In summary, this Taco Bell should be avoided at all costs. While it may seem promising, it ends up being among the worst fast-food joints in Bakersfield.

And remember, the good fast-food joints would have at least 9 cat lives.
