I saw the great reviews on this site and others and thought Las Salsas would be good. When I entered, it was packed, wich I took for a good sign. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with both the food and service.



Being the first time there, myself and the people I went with, were unsure of how they operate, whether it is self seat or we wait. After having to go to the front and ask, we seated ourselves, which is perfectly fine, and waited for our menus. We were handed the regular menu and the breakfast/ lunch menu. I ordered the 4 mini tacos lunch cambo with carne asada. When the food arrived, I found it odd that I only received the tacos. I asked our server about the rice and beans that was supposed to come with the lunch combo. She said she would get it, and brought it quickly. Overall the food was okay, but it lacked flavor in the meat, the rice was a bit mushy, and the beans had an oily taste. After our meal, we went to the register to pay, and were surprised to discover that the lunch combos are for week days only, something every server that helped us did not mention, even though we did not see it posted on any of the signs or menus, and we told our services it was our first visit to the restutant.



Our experience at Las Salsas did not go well. Dispite the issue with the ordering, we did not like the food, and would rather go to one of the other Mexican restaurants in town.
