I live in bakersville and go to dollar general quite often. Everyone that works there is friendly and will help with anything you need!

For a small store in a small town, this store does an excellent job of keeping things stocked and as neat as humanly possible. Usually I have found no more than two employees at any one time working the store and sometimes only one. Under these circumstances, one cannot expect absolute perfection. I have clerked larger stores in bigger cities and understand there is only so much one or even two people can do in such a thankless, low end job with customers who run the gamut from friendly to downright rude! It is not an easy job and I tip my hat to the men and women who take on the public in such a job. I shop this store often and will continue to patronize it with a big thank you to all the clerks who work there!
