only takes cash or checks. The only one working the place and runs in out of his basement. Don't give you a bill at the end of your appointment and sends you a high bill after many appointments. He charges you to read test results and to look at his hand claim it was a special service and charge out of pocket for it for over 100 dollars. Didn't care when we told him we were low income with kids and keep making appointments every week and asking to go back in town for labs. claimed out of eight appointments we only payed two of our co-pays when we only missed three. I wish someone would report him to the B.B.B. shouldn't be allowed to scam people like this.

I don't recommend this doctor at all. He is very unprofessional and rude. He was extremely disrespectful towards me and my primary care doctor's office and was perpetually difficult to work with. Every appointment was less than 15 minutes and he would require me to schedule unnecessary appointments knowing that I have a high co-pay. He could not figure out how to submit my office visits to my insurance company and continually blamed me for his ineptitude. He even went so far as to turn my insurance company into the KC Star because he was to stupid to figure out the correct way to handle my insurance. Dr. Rothschild is an awful, uncaring doctor and he is only out to get patients money. Don't bother with him!

Dr. Rothschild is a joke. His "Arthritis Institute" is in his basement of his house, and difficult to find. He may be easy to get an appointment with, but that's because no one likes him. He is rude, repeatedly will cut you off while talking, and his appointments are short, even when we were driving 3 hours round trip to see him. He diagnosed my husband with having tendinitis in his wrists, and when his solution didn't offer any relief, he blamed my husband and ordered more blood work and more x-rays. When my husband missed an appointment because I went into early labor, he sent a bill for $100. When my husband called to explain, Dr. Rothschild told him to submit his excuse in writing and then hung up on him. Do Not Waste You Time or Money!
