The care my father received here was fine, but we had a problem with the billing. My father was there only 3 days in December but in January we received a bill for over $6000 which was the monthly rate. I called and was told we only owed $52 and would receive a new bill. In February we received a letter that said we still owed over $6000 and if we didn't pay soon collection procedures would be started. I called again and was told we only owed $52 and would receive a new bill. It's now March and we just got a letter saying we did owe only $52 but if we didn't pay in 7 days collection procedures would be started.

If anyone is looking for a place for a family member, I do not recommend Oaks Scenic View Baldwin, GA. My older brother had a massive stroke in July 2014. He was doing well and better than most expected, had long stays in several different hospitals. The doctors finally said he needed less medical and more rehabilitation. It states on websites that the do restrain patients that need it for their safety and if a family member or doctors advise the patient does need restraints! My brother was not even at the nursing home a whole day. He fell and hit his head which caused more bleeding around the brain. He was taking to another hospital to access the damage. Less than a week since the fall, he died. He had came a very long way and he was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, friend and a very loving husband. Nothing can bring him back but I do not want another family to go through this. When you call the Nursing Home they do state they are a non restraint facililty however the website says different.
