I lead a 8-man crew contracted in the local area needing to book a hotel for a few weeks on the job. We honestly had planned on staying at one of the bigger franchise hotels in the town next over, but this place caught our eye first since its close to the highway off-ramp Baldwin exit. On first look it seemed like just a homely family owned motel, but this place shocked everyone! The receptionist was extremely helpful and allowed me and my guys to view a few rooms before purchase. Over 12 rooms were fully renovated from top to finish, even more impressive than some chained hotels I've traveled to. Everything in our rooms were brand new, free WiFi, premium satellite channels, and the weekly rate was more affordable than any other place we compared to. It sits near the highway so the commute to the work site was simple and the quiet neighborhood made relaxing after a long day of work enjoyable. A perfect stay from such a little place. My wife and I are from Opelousas and regularly go to concerts at Cypress Bayou Casio, so its a shame to say this is my first time finding this place since its so close to the casino, but highly recommend it. Next time we'll definitely stay here, amazing motel
