worked at SSAC from 1997 to 2000 as a electronic lab tech, production support, verified test equipment used in production that calibration standards & procedures followed company policy to ensure quality of the product and safety to both personnel (workers) and products. Great atmosphere as most people were nice during the time when it was Privately owned. Salary/ wages were slightly below average. SSAC had very good work hours of 7am to 3:30pm. SSAC was acquired in or about 2001 by another company but I took a new job offer else where before the acquisition happened. At my new job which was in Michigan, I discovered SSAC products in a few machines I performed maintenance on. The world market in technology had changed and manufacturing in the U.S. has dwindled making business difficult to compete with foreign companies. Sorry to see SSAC had to close its door as it effects local employment and our economy.
