SOAR (Success Oriented Achievement Realized), is a private, nonprofit organization that offers wilderness adventure programs for adults with learning disabilities and attention deficit and hyperactive disorders. The organization provides educational services for school-aged youths and families. SOAR also publishes a newsletter. The organization manages outdoor education centers that house a group meeting space, dining area, and equipment and recreation rooms. It offers programs for people in North Carolina, Wyoming, Florida and California. The organization provides whitewater intensive, academic discovery, horsepacking and expedition courses. In addition, it offers semester courses that include opportunities to participate in snorkeling, sea kayaking, sailing swimming, whitewater rafting and spear fishing. SOAR is accredited by the American Camping Association.
