Mattern Construction was founded in 1987 by George J. Mattern, current owner. George began the business from his home in Canterbury, later moving to two different locations in Preston, and in 2000 we moved to our current office in Baltic, Connecticut. Throughout the years George has built a company based on teamwork, respect for others, trust and commitment. Mattern's staff has many years of varied construction expertise which, when combined with George's leadership, have proven to be a strong and effective team. Our goal at Mattern Construction is to build a lasting company with strong customer relationships, as well as a reputation for top quality work at a fair price.
