The cabinets are all wood, not constructed out of particle board, cardboard or synthetic materials. The best joinery systems are used and the cabinet counters are designed with or without radiuses. Aniline dyes, used since the mid-nineteenth century by European artisans, are employed to produce wood stains that enhance the grain, and are vivid and colorful. We hired Mr. Belgrave from Art...

We hired Mr. Belgrave from ArtNurie in March, 2008. Over that year, he created two of the most gracious and elegant bookcases for our livingroom. Mr. Belgrave considered the style and period of our home (1860s row home) and crafted these lovely bookcases in such a way that it looks like they were always there and indeed, people are often surprised when we mention that the bookshelves are not original! We were so happy with the bookshelves that we also hired Mr. Belgrave to redo our kitchen cabinetry and are so pleased that the pull out shelves make the most of the limited space for storage in our kitchen.



On a personal, Mr. Belgrave is just an exceptional person to work with. He is truly one of a kind and also very honorable. In the middle of our first job, his business suffered reverses due to the downturn in the economy. Mr. Belgrave worked through the recession, often by himself, to finish the projects he committed to in rosier economic times. My husband and I feel so fortunate to have found Mr. Belgrave and our home is certainly more beautiful because of him.

Wonderful attention to detail and quality.



I contracted Mr. Belgrave and ArtNurie Woodworks during the complete rehab of my downtown Baltimore row home, and couldn't be happier with the results. I opened the first floor, and wanted to install an oak, modern design open staircase to act as the showpeice of the entire floor. A showpeice is what I wanted, and what I received!



Working under tight space and time restrictions Mr. Belgrave and his team designed, constructed, and finished a beautiful structural component for a 90 degree staircase turn, designed and installed all the railings, and perfectly finished the stair treads themselves to create what I consider functional art in the middle of my home.



The finish work and attention to detail is the best I've seen, and working with ArtNurie was a pleasure from start to finish. Mr. Belgrave is exacting in his attention to detail and has an eye for creativity and innovation in custom woodworking. Everyone visiting my home comments on the beauty of the staircase and the finish work.



Without a doubt ArtNurie will be a part of any future custom woodworking needs I have in this or future homes.
