My review dates back to when I lived at 3545 Third Street in Brqooklyn across from the Park. I lived with my gramdmother back then iny youth. All my friends use to gather at the rec center and sign out equipment, play pool, ping pong, join in the games and contest. I won.a YoYo contest back then becoming the Yo Yo champion of the rec hall. Won.a.big patch.with Yo Yo Champion on it and a small golden YoYo. Entered in tumbling contest and shows. It was a wonderful place for kids back in those days. It was a great park and rec center and a great part of my youth. I believe I was a out 9 or 10 when I started going to the rec center then. Spent many a day there enjoying every minute with friends. The director of the rec center back then was a wonderful caring person. Ahhhhh, the memories this brings back ..... Being a young boy back was great.
