Thought it would be great because they let me bring my own parts to install but you get what you pay for folks.

They said it was first come first serve and if I brought my car in when they opened it would be the first worked on. I was there at the crack of 7AM to drop it off. Now, I was only getting the front brakes worked on. Replacing rotors and pads. This is a 2 hour job tops. 3:30 rolls around and I finally get the call to pick it up.

I try to drive it away and the brakes hit the floor, I mean they're complete mush, but the mechanics are all gone for the day. After much haranguing I get a call from the owner who says that he'll try to get it worked on on Sunday IF he can get a hold of the mechanic. The next day I see the mechanic there (who hasn't called me) so I asked if he was going to look at it. Yes, he had been told about the problem, No he didn't call me yet, Yes he'll look at it. (This is 10AM in the morning) 3:30 rolls around and I go back to find they still haven't looked at the car. One of the mechanics drove it and says he didn't find a problem. He says they're supposed to be like that. Thing is, they weren't like that before they worked on them. They were tight and responsive. The brakes NEVER hit the floor. The problem is that the rotors were warped so I had vibration in the steering wheel. I try to tell him this and he starts yelling at me. Literally yelling at me. I tell him to just give me the keys. He says, "Get the fuck out of the way so I can back the car up." When he gets out of the car he says "Change your fucking attitude and you can bring it back." Then as he's walking away he flips me off.

Nah. I'm allright. I learned my lesson not to mess with cut rate hacks.
2 whole days to change some rotors? And they're not even done right?

Not exactly thrilled with my last service there. Went in for a used tired advertised at $15. Got a quote of $21.75. No big deal. When done, they attempted to bill me $41.75, mounting and balancing, tire disposal, etc. I don't expect on the rim service, but seriously, almost twice the advertised price? No, I don't think I will go back there again.

I had only bought my car in July 2013 by a private owner to find out it had major wiring issues. I got my car towed to Carroll Island Auto on the weekend of Labor Day and they got right to my car the next business day after the holiday. The service didn't take long at all, maybe a few days but one thing I will say is they got everything checked out accordingly. Josh was a big help and very nice and professional. The price was great for the long drawn out work they did to figure out the problem. I definitely would recommend them if you are looking for auto repairs that don't put a hole in your pocket and fast work.
