Provided by YP.comPlease dont use this sevice shop. They robbed me blind last week. I went in for an oil change and they called and said the drain plug was stripped and I would need a new oil pan. They then said that it was already stripped when it go to the shop. Well... How was there still oil in the car. They charged me $200 for the oil pan ( I can buy it for $112). The oil pan is 8" long 3" wide and is made of stamped steel. They then charged me three and a half hours of labor!! It took them no more than twenty minutes. I would never use them again. This is a legal form of robbery.
I was witness to this persons car and the drain plug was coming out hard and pulling the threads out of the drain hole. You still had oil in the engine because the plug was still in there, no one told you it was leaking or low on oil. It does not matter what you can get your parts for because we cannot use customer supplied parts. We could only get it from the dealer. We do a lot of oil changes and this happens more than you can imagine. We don't like it anymore than you do but it has to be dealt with. You have the option of telling us to put it back in and forget about the oil change or go ahead and repair it which you did. I have been with this company over 24 years, with this store around 12 and I do not allow anything shady to go on in a place where I make my living. I like to sleep at night. People like you we run into a lot who wants us to take care of all things wrong with their car because obviously we did something wrong and there is no way your car could possibly need anything ever. Grow up, take responsibility for your own problems.
