Provided by YP.comWe went to the Mt. Washington Tavern on a week night evening. It was not at all busy, only one couple in the dining room and maybe 10-12 people in the bar section, non of them eating. The dirinks were OK, but a little higher in price than some other nice local places. The food got very mixed reviews. The burgers were rated as very good by my two compaions. The Reuben sandwich was described on the menu as, 'The Best in Baltimore." I love Reubens and order them often and did so again. The sandwich I was served was undoubtedly the worst Rebuen I have ever been served. It probably rates as the worst sandwich I've ever been served. The bread was burned in some area, especially the crust which was black in some places. It was smashed flat and had very little inside the bread. So, basically it tasted like burned rye bread. This sandwich wasn't of poor quality, it was incredibly bad. It was so bad that my companions were joking about it. It is difficult to believe any bar or restaurant would serve something like this. And when you factor in the fact that the price was half again what it would cost at many other places...
