I have lived in this building for almost 3 years. I really love it but as with anything it has both positive and negative characteristics. The apartments are very large with high ceilings, hardwood floors, and amazing french windows in both the dining room and living room. The kitchen has abundant cabinet space and a dishwasher which is a little unusual for the buildings so close to campus. The staff is very nice and maintenance is kind, respectful, and competent and the doormen, especially Thomas and Jerome are wonderful. However the building is rather old so there is no central air (people use window air conditioners) and the radiators clank. There were some bug problems in the kitchen but traps worked well. There are no locked mailboxes for the individual apartments, and because of the proximity to the university parking is very poor in the area (the building has no parking). If you are willing to pay for it there is a garage in the hotel next door. The building has a lot of character and is very good place to live.
