CompanyPlymouth Road Architects was founded in 1995. We specialize in residential design, including new homes, additions and renovations. Our projects have ranged in scale from a child's playhouse to multi million dollar homes and additions, but most fall somewhere in between those extremes. We have also done some small scale commercial design work, including some new buildings for Main Street in Mt. Airy, MD.Lisa has a B.A. in Architecture from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, and has been a registered architect in Maryland since 1986. She has designed custom homes and additions for many private clients and model homes for a number of local home builders, including Catonsville Homes and Williamsburg Group. She founded the firm in 1995 under the name Lisa W. Sunderwirth Associates, Architects, but her name and the firm's both changed in 2001.Tim has been with Plymouth Road Architects since 1999. He has a B.S. in Architecture from Catholic University in Washington, D.C. Before turning to architecture, he was a professional artist and a custom cabinetmaker, and he brings both sensibilities to his architectural design.Everyone, at every income level, deserves good design.
