Provided by YP.comI give up!! Crabs aren't always hot in temperature and the 20's I got yesterday ($20/dozen) were more like 8's ($8/dozen). Crabs are sometimes sold by size, but more often by weight and the measurement of the shell. Either way, I was ripped off and this wasn't the first time. Also, the ratio of 'dead' crabs (mushy meat unsuitable to eat, probably dead before cooking) is getting higher. Before, they used to put a few extra in just in case. Now, the crabs are CONSISTENTLY undersized with higher ratios of inedible crabs and there are rarely extras put in to be sure you get your money's worth. I find the claws missing more than usual lately too.
Such a shame, Sea Pride used to be a good crab house. I don't know if it's management or the employees, but neither seems to care when I complain.
Maybe I'll go back to Bay Island across the street to see if they've gotten any better...
