Dr. Kang is experienced in a broad range of general surgery topics including open, laparoscopic, and robotic hernia repair, pilonidal disease, skin lesions, hemorrhoids and diseases related to the gallbladder. He is board-certified in general surgery and has been practicing surgery since 2012. Dr. Kang graduated from the Louisiana State School of Medicine in 2007. He then went on to do a General Surgery Residency at the Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Before medicine he graduated from Louisiana State University, summa cum laude with a Bachelor's Degree in music. Dr. Kang has been published numerous times and contributed to advancements in Surgery. His research focuses on minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Kang was born and raised in Louisiana.
