Phoenix Specialty Manufacturing, established in 1907, supplies washers, shims and precision stampings for OEMs throughout the United States. Phoenix opened its plant in Bamberg, S.C., in 1965, and relocated the entire company from New York to Bamberg in 1976. The company has more than 3,000 OEM customers and supplies thousands of part numbers each year from its 140,000 square feet of office, manufacturing and warehousing space. Its job shop specializes in short and medium runs. New custom washers are usually delivered within a maximum of two weeks.
