CPS101 is comprised of educators who are long experienced in the field. They really care! As a result of their nurturing guidance, our son gained confidence—and admission to his top choices. And he received merit scholarships totaling over $80,000. Talk about bang for your buck!

We used the high school guidance office and got decent feedback about schools and how to apply, but once we counsulted with the people at CPS we were amazed at the amount of extra information they could give us. We learned about making the college choice list more personalized and varied, we saw how John, my son, could package his application to emphasize his strengths and interests, and we got help with the essays. Before we didn't know how to make the essay personal and a standout. John didn't know what to write but found out there are lots of possibilities for topics. John even learned about writing a supplemental essay to give him an edge. On top of the tips and information we received from CPS, CPS helped motivate John to get his application completed, which saved time and aggravation at home. Thanks to CPS, John got into his top three choices of schools.

Maureen at CPS101 made the whole process so easy and manageable! My applications were completed way ahead of schedule and I got in to all of my favorite schools. My parents were happy too because many colleges offered me merit aid; I think it was because my application and resume made me look so good! Thanks CPS101 staff!

CPS101 is unbelievable--nothing else in the area approaches it. The director and the tutors are wonderful. They helped with everything including selecting schools, preparing for interviews, studying for tests, filling out the Common Ap, and writing the essay. The result: Not only was this a growing experience for my son, he got into all the colleges he applied to!

We were desperate and time was running out. Maureen and Jan helped my daughter get started on the college essay that she'd been avoiding for weeks. After brainstorming, she was able to write easily when she thought before she had nothing to say. Then CPS101 helped us edit her draft so that it stood out. I really think the essay was the deciding factor in her acceptance at several schools she wanted but were a stretch for her.

My son graduated in 2006 and needed help preparing for the college admissions process. Maureen at CPS101 helped him develop good strategies for his interview at Bowdoin. I honestly think that it made all the difference in getting accepted. Well worth the reasonable cost.
