The Mast Farm Inn is one of the historic mountain farms in North Carolina. Its first house was built in 1810. Currently, it has more than 15 guest rooms for accommodation, as well as farmhouse rooms, cottages and cabins. Each of its rooms feature in-room amenities, such as televisions, bath tubs and telephones. The inn also features an organic restaurant that serves a range of dishes. Its menu includes appetizers, soups, salads, breads, desserts, and beef and chicken dishes, as well as a variety of beverages. The restaurant also serves a fine collection of wines, including Champagne, sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, merlot, pinot noir and pinot grigio. The Mast Farm Inn additionally consists of a gift shop, Basket Gallery, which designs and produces a variety of handmade gift baskets. The inn provides a venue to host weddings, receptions, anniversary parties, family reunions and business meetings. It maintains a location in Banner Elk, N.C.
